DAN GIBBS SWORN INTO SENATE

DENVER—On Tuesday Senator Dan Gibbs (D-Silverthorne) was sworn into the State Senate by Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey.

Placing his hand on a Bible that has been in his family for over 150 years, Gibbs welcomed colleagues old and new as he assumed the office of State Senator.

“I am honored to have been selected to serve the people of Senate District 16,” remarked Gibbs. “I pledge to bring the same hard work and leadership to the Front Range and high country that I did to Eagle, Lake and Summit Counties. I look forward to continuing my work for the people of Colorado in the Senate.”

Gibbs’ district now includes Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Grand, Jefferson and Summit Counties.
